ANSI Impact Test
Standard ANSI high-speed impact test/VD shooting test, frames and lenses must withstand 0.25-inch diameter steel balls at 150fps [ANSI] or 0.15 caliber guns at 640-660fps high-speed shooting (glasses VD shooting), while our lenses and frames can withstand 0.22-inch caliber guns and 550-560fps T-37 standard test bullets. This testing ensures the strength of our lenses and frames.
KAM-TACT patented frame
Fine dust and pollen as well as wind may cause dryness or irritation of the eyes. KAM-TACT's wraparound design blocks these irritants and surrounding strong light for the best protection and can be paired with polarized lenses. All KAM-TACT frames can be paired with prescription lenses, simplifying the process of ordering glasses and professional lens processing.
KAM-TACT Technology Lenses
SEL technology lenses undergo a de-centering and tapering process to ensure the lenses meet ANSI standards for visual clarity while blocking 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays.
KAM-TACT Technology Lenses
Polarized lenses: Glare from water and other colored surfaces can affect your vision during those important moments and cause eye fatigue. All KAM-TACT lenses pass ANSI safety standards and are scratch-resistant, fog-proof, and resistant to high-speed impacts. All of our frames, temples and lenses meet ANSI safety standards and are marked as such.
